A documentary wedding photographer is a story teller. For us, it's about weaving the images together to tell the tale of your wedding day. It's very straight forward, but not particularly an easy art to do. For us, an image absolutely has to have context and tell a story to the viewer.
My approach has always been to unobtrusively capture your wedding moments as they naturally happen. Of course, I'm always happy to direct portraits as per your request, using landscape features and striking architecture to achieve natural backdrops. It is my belief that your wedding is about so much more than scheduled events.
